Steve Frizzell's Indian Bobber
Steve "Gravedigger"
Frizzell, from Swansea Massachusetts,
sent me pictures
of his cool 1940 Chief bobber, as well as details of its build.
Steve says: "My buddy
choo paints all my bikes and did the Chief too.
It has a 40 frame, 40 chief motor by Little John in N.H., rear fender cut
by Duffy (REAL INDIAN),
Indian rear light, Harley Bad Boy springer (bought piece by piece from eBay
and made to fit by Ronnie the machinist), rear sportster 18" rim, 21" front
($20 akront swap meet unit).

Front fender is a $5 swap
meet unit grafted to a stock bracket, old flanders bars straightened and powdercoated,
pipes are old Indian, 2000 indian front caliper, sporty and box a bends from
some car motorheads

Cycle, Mass., 12VOLT system, cycle electric generator, fairbanks morse mag
running
directly off the oil pump, solid state regulator, no chain or beltguards (too
much extra weight),
repro guages from kiwi + Kevin Flanagan, period beck grips, old misc parts
