Our Loveless movie special is coming soon!

We're not just retailers... we're riders.

It's not all Harleys... honest

Check out this spiffing pre-unit Triumph in the latest issue

It's no secret; I love Harley-Davidsons. The older the better. The more period-custom... the better. But in the interests of reader satisfaction I try to include one or two (and sometimes more) other marques into the mix of machines in each issue of GKM. (We sometimes even feature... shh... cars.)

And if you've already had the new issue 57 delivered, you'll know we have an article on this purdy lil' pre-unit, built by Lucas Joyner at The Factory Metal Works. He calls the bike 'Smokey Robinson'; we call it stunning. Lucas cracks out so many fine-looking Trumpets that he was hard-pressed to remember much about this one, built, as it was, a while back. He did, however, laughingly recall that the seat was a pain in the arse. (Not to make, just... literally.) And, er... that was about it.

Luckily we probed his dusty memory enough for it to cough up some details of the build which you can read about in the feature; it's probably the showiest bike in the new issue.

We'd call it a 'custom'. Definitely not a chopper... or God forbid, a bobber. But whatever you want to call it, don't miss the story of this tidy, compact Triumph in issue 57, out now.
