GKM issue 62 is out now... dig the new cover?

Billy Horner on his '41 Harley U bob-job

Another issue, another new cover design. But hey, it's my trainset... right?

The new logo is unashamedly harking back to an imagined, halcyon past... something I like to indulge in. It was partly prompted by the brilliant cover photo of Billy Horner, taken by his wife Laura, which evokes the look of those images from the Harley owners' magazine 'The Enthusiast', from the fifites. And though I love traditionally-styled choppers as much as the next tattooed, bearded bikrider, my true love has always been the stock-geometry lines of the 1930s-'50s bob-jobs.

So I hope you like the new cover.

Inside the new issue, we talk to our friend Dean Micetich about the bike left to him by his (and our) great mate Matt Davis. It's a beautiful bike and an inspiring and upsetting story. We also have a range of great bikes – ranging from a pre-unit Triumph to a Yamaha custom – from around the globe, along with their builders' stories.

Anyway, enough gabble. Check out the new one here.
