RED WING CLASSIC MOC TOE 8849 BLACK PRAIRIE BOOTS
This is the style Red Wing is arguably best known for. Moc Toe boots were first made by Red Wing in the early 1950s for hunters; farm and factory workers quickly took to the boots for their all-day comfort and lasting durability. The crescent-shaped toe stitching is inspired by the construction of moccasins originally worn by the North American Algonquin Indians.
The six-inch high Red Wing 8849s are constructed from 'Black Prairie' leather which has a smooth and polished look; this leather ages beautifully, creating a brownish patina as the boots get older and more worn. They have a white Cushion Crepe Wedge outsole with Traction Tred, providing maximum grip and outstanding comfort.
