RED WING CLASSIC MOC TOE 8859 NAVY PORTAGE BOOTS
This is the boot Red Wing are arguably best known for. Moc Toe boots were first made by Red Wing in the 1950s for sportsmen; farm and factory workers quickly took to the boots for their all-day comfort and lasting durability. The crescent-shaped toe stitching is inspired by the construction of moccasins originally worn by the North American Algonquin Indians.
The 8859 6-inch Classic Moc in Navy Portage leather features the iconic Traction Tred outsole, all-round Goodyear welt, and Puritan triple stitch with distinctive gold and tan Taslan laces. Navy Portage is a Red Wing leather that is specially tanned with UV protecting chemicals to prevent fading from sun exposure.
