This wonderful vintage lead v-twin motorcycle toy was made probably by Barclay or possibly by Manoil, the two manufacturers of this type of toy in the 1930s and 1940s. These toys were hugely popular and renowned for their skilful sculpting: the crouched figure really looks like he's riding at speed.
The toy has original paint which is nicely play-worn and is in excellent condition. Please see photos.
It measures 3.5 inches (9 cm) long and 2.25 inches (6 cm) high.
