A new issue's coming... sometime!

Got a great lineup of motorcycles (from the US, UK and Japan) ready for the next issue... including Joe Juran's killer Knuck chopper in the photo. So why's it taking so long to appear?
Well, the general global chaos (you know what, caused by you know who) means prices of all the things that affect me as a publisher have gone up: print, postage and international shipping, for starters. Confusion and extra costs still apply to US distribution, and there's new duty on goods being imported by EU countries. All this - along with the decline in real magazines and the rise of AI - means readers willing to spend are fewer than ever.
(I also nearly died in January and spent the month in hospital.)
So it hasn't been smooth sailing, whichever course I've chosen to navigate. And waters remain choppy!
But it's the rise of the tech barons, AI and the spread of misinformation and idiocy that makes me even more certain that now is the very time to keep publishing a quality paper magazine, with well-crafted words and great photography. Even if it's now necessarily a vanity project rather than a money-making one.
I need some reality in this mire of fakery. Motorcycles that need kick-starting and magazines that smell of print and old times.
So hang in there, friends. It's coming...
