This book – full title 'Hells Angels of San Berdoo '65, Inside the mother charter' – was self-published by photographer Bill Ray in 2010 to showcase his photos of the Berdoo charter which were commissioned by Life Magazine but never used.
I interviewed Bill Ray for issue 23 of the magazine, where we published – for the first time in their intended medium, a magazine – some of these photos.
Bill signed this book personally to me, in 2011. He died in January 2020.
The book is hardback, complete with original dust jacket, and is in excellent condition. It is large format: 13 x 11 inches, or 33 x 28 cm. 75 pages.
