The New Barbarians by Jan Hudson, first edition NEL paperback, 1973

This is a very rare New English Library (NEL) paperback pulp biker title, published in 1973 with a superb illustrated cover.

Unlike many of the NEL books, this is based on 'fact' and was one of the first 'exposé' books about the  1%er phenomenon in the USA (a follow-up to the Hells Angels book by the same author). This is one of the scarcer NEL titles!

This copy is tight, complete with a good spine. As with all NEL novels, which were cheaply mass produced, the newsprint-type paper has yellowed. There is age-related wear visible (these books are over half a century old!).
